Dean’s Message
As the Dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Engineering (CASE), it is my pleasure to welcome you to the University of North Alabama. We are thrilled to have you as part of our vibrant community of learners, both on-campus and virtually. As the largest and most diverse college on campus, we offer over 100 unique majors, minors, and certificate programs!
As Alabama’s Workforce Development University, CASE plays a significant role in preparing career-ready graduates to meet the economic needs of the state and region. Our curriculum is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in the liberal arts and sciences, including courses in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and mathematics. We also emphasize the development of transferable skills, such as problem-solving, teamwork, leadership, and communication. Our graduates are known for their exceptional people skills, which are in high demand by employers everywhere.

Through the university’s Shine On, Gold campaign, CASE invites you to join us in our vision for UNA’s future, focusing on these primary areas:
Music Performance Center
This campaign priority supports the construction and maintenance of a state-of-the-art Music Performance Center, which we envision to be a hub for musical creativity and learning, featuring advanced acoustics, rehearsal spaces, and performance halls. Give to this initiative here.

This priority aims to increase the accessibility of higher education by providing financial assistance to students. Scholarships are crucial for attracting a diverse, talented student body and reducing financial burden on students and their families. Give to this initiative here.
Experiential Learning
This priority focuses on providing hands-on, real-world experiences that complement traditional classroom learning. It includes opportunities for student-faculty research and scholarship, allowing students to work closely with professors on cutting-edge projects. Donor-Directed Gifts
Donors can also choose to specify how their contributions are used, aligning their personal passions and interests with the college’s needs. Advisory Council
Advisory Council members provide specific feedback on CASE programs and projects, participate in assisting to create and strengthen partnerships to enhance the faculty and student experiences as they are able, and help with the overall advancement of the College with outside constituents. Members serve upon the recommendation and invitation of the Dean.
