Tiny Cubs Community Baby Shower
Supporting Families Through Community Care
Tiny Cubs Community Baby Shower brings together the University of North Alabama, local partners, volunteers, and community members to support growing families across North Alabama. Created by faculty in the Anderson College of Nursing and Health Professions, Tiny Cubs is designed to improve perinatal care through education, connection, and a welcoming baby shower-style experience for families.
Tiny Cubs helps connect families with helpful resources, education, and support during pregnancy, birth, and early childhood. Through community events, educational partnerships, and local collaboration, the program creates a space where families can learn, ask questions, receive needed items, and feel supported by people who care about their well-being.
Make a Lasting Impact in the Lives of Local Families
There are many ways to support Tiny Cubs and help extend its impact. Community members, local businesses, educators, healthcare partners, and volunteers can contribute through event sponsorships, vendor participation, volunteer support, educational collaboration, baby item donations, or financial gifts.
New, unopened baby items such as diapers, wipes, swaddling blankets, car seats, pack-n-plays, and breast pumps help provide meaningful support for families. Financial gifts also help Tiny Cubs continue serving the community and expanding its reach.
