Office of Academic Affairs

Education Meets Innovation and Tradition Ignites Ambition

The Office of Academic Affairs at the University of North Alabama supports the academic mission of the University by helping create an educational experience that challenges, supports, and prepares students to reach their fullest potential.

Led by the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, the division supports academic programs, faculty excellence, curriculum development, accreditation, assessment, student resources, and the academic policies and processes that help UNA deliver a high-quality educational experience.

A Message from Academic Affairs

At UNA, students discover a campus alive with diverse thoughts and activities, where individual growth is a priority. Academic offerings span a wide range of disciplines, from the arts and humanities to the sciences and engineering, and faculty are both leaders in their fields and passionate educators committed to quality instruction.

Beyond the classroom, UNA encourages personal development, leadership, global engagement, research, community service, and student involvement. Academic Affairs supports students as they explore programs of study, connect with faculty and staff, and begin their journey of discovery and learning.
