Notice to the Public
The University of North Alabama ensures compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 49 CFR, Part 21, and related statutes and regulations.
In accordance with Title VI, no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.
This protection also includes the denial of meaningful access for Limited English Proficient (LEP) persons.
Purpose of the Title VI Plan
The purpose of UNA’s Title VI plan is to assist the University of North Alabama in its administration and management of Title VI-related activities.

Title VI Notice of Protection Against Discrimination
The University of North Alabama operates its programs without regard to race, color, and national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.
Any person who believes they have been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with the University of North Alabama.
