Business & Financial Affairs provides business, financial, facilities, technology, and safety services for students, faculty, staff, administration, visitors, and friends of the University of North Alabama.
Through offices such as the Controller’s Office, Facilities Administration and Planning, Campus Police, Information Technology Services, and Student Financial Services, Business & Financial Affairs helps support the daily operations, long-term planning, and essential services that keep the University moving forward.
Business & Financial Affairs Services
Business & Financial Affairs brings together several offices and service areas that support the University community.
Controller’s Office
Provides essential business services, including Student Accounts, University Payrolls, Budget Management, Student Loan collections, University Bookstore, Campus Dining Services, accounts payable, internal audit, expenses, and financial aid support.
Facilities Administration and Planning
Supports a well-maintained campus through facilities planning, work orders, event service requests, vehicle reservations and repairs, environmental health and safety, maintenance, and completion notices.
Student Financial Services
Helps students and families navigate student accounts, billing, payments, financial obligations, and related business services.
Campus Police
Maintains a safe and secure campus through quality public safety services, crime prevention, emergency preparedness, parking services, law enforcement training, Clery Act compliance, and community partnerships.
Information Technology Services
Provides secure, reliable, and integrated technology solutions that support the University community, including Help Desk support, campus technology, Canvas support, email, internet access, Duo/MFA, Microsoft Office, technology security, and web services.
Controller’s Office
The Controller’s Office provides business services to students, faculty, and staff that are essential for UNA to pursue its mission of teaching, research, and public service.

The Controller’s Office also provides access to frequently requested forms and information, including payment requisition, travel reimbursement, budget transfer, budget query, deposit, W-9, and accounts payable resources.

Student Financial Services supports students and families with the financial processes connected to attending UNA. This area helps students understand billing, payments, student accounts, and other financial responsibilities.
