Leaders On Campus and Off

UNA is home to two nationally recognized honor societies for fraternity and sorority members: Order of Omega and Rho Lambda. Both recognize students who go beyond membership and lead: in their chapters, on campus, and in the community. Membership is selective and by invitation, based on academic achievement and campus involvement.

Order of Omega

Order of Omega is a national leadership honor society for fraternity and sorority members. The Eta Omega chapter was chartered at UNA on April 22, 1987. Each year, membership is limited to 5% of the total fraternity and sorority population which keeps the distinction meaningful.

Juniors and seniors with a cumulative GPA above the all-Greek average are invited to apply. Applications are reviewed on scholarship, chapter and campus involvement, and community service. Initiations are held twice a year, in the fall and spring.

Rho Lambda

Rho Lambda is the national sorority leadership recognition society, honoring women who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and service in both their chapter and the entire Greek community. UNA’s chapter was re-established in Fall 2019.

Membership is open to junior and senior sorority women with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and is capped at 10% of the total sorority membership.
